The Harris Consulting Group was asked to provide sales training for both the SDR team and the Account Executive team. This sales training was further broken down to included top of the sales funnel and middle of sales funnel. As each group required different sales tools, Richard Harris created custom programs for each of the teams. For the SDR team he focused on the practice of outbound prospecting including best practices for email, voicemail and social selling. For the account executive team Richard focused on the middle of sales funnel and focused on improving the velocity through the sales funnel. Some of the main training focused on teaching the sales representatives on earning the right to ask questions, which questions to ask, and when to ask specific questions to improve the deal velocity.
