Just because someone lives in the middle of the country does not mean they shouldn’t be paid what someone in NYC or San Francisco makes.

If the LTV (Lifetime Value) of the customer is the same, then pay people within your organization equally.

It simply means they are smarter than you about money.

As Morgan Gebhardt told me, “Pay people for the value they create, not for where they live.”
